Discovery Technology International, LLLP’s (“DTI”) early history was as a developer and marketer of biomedical instrumentation and consumables for use in pharmaceutical research studies, physiology and related fields. The company has since evolved to become a leading provider of precision piezoelectric motion control and flow control devices.

Piezomotor Technologies

The technology at the core of these devices is a growing range of cutting-edge ultrasonic piezoelectric motors (“piezomotors”), providing a superior and cost-effective alternative to conventional electromagnetic motors. DTI’s piezomotors are used around the world for an increasing number of applications within the medical device, industrial and scientific markets.

Biomedical Technologies
www.discovtech.com – DTI’s biomedical technologies consists of instrumentation and consumables for use in drug discovery research and related fields. The range of instruments includes; biosensing systems for detecting medically-active species such as; free radicals, nitric oxide, hydrogen peroxide, oxygen, glutamate, glucose and many others. Tissue oxygenation and blood perfusion systems (e.g. laser Doppler), in-vivo whole animal imaging systems and 3-D soft agar colony counters.
